  • How do I know which facial is right for me?

Choosing the right facial depends on your skin type and concerns.

    Here's a quick guide:

Oily or Acne-Prone Skin: Try a deep cleansing facial or microneedling for acne and scarring.

Dry or Dehydrated Skin: A HydraFacial will provide deep hydration and a refreshed glow.

Sensitive Skin: Go for a Soothing Facial to calm and hydrate.

Fine Lines & Wrinkles: Microneedling or a chemical peel stimulates collagen and smooths skin.

Uneven Tone or Pigmentation: A brightening facial or peel can even out your complexion.

Not sure which one? We’re happy to help! Schedule a Bespoke facial, a perfect introductoory facial and we’ll recommend the best treatment for your skin’s needs.

  • Will my skin peel or flake after any of these facials?

Most of our facials, including Bio Revive Renewal and The Cell Renewal Ritual, are designed to deliver results without visible peeling. However, deeper treatments like microneedling may cause mild redness or flaking for 1–2 days. You'll always leave with tailored aftercare instructions.

  • Can I get these facials during the summer?

Yes especially Bio Revive and Microdermabrasion, which are non-photosensitizing. You’ll just need to wear SPF (always recommended) and follow any sun avoidance guidelines provided after your service.

  • Is microneedling painful?

Most clients describe it as mildly prickly, not painful. We use high-quality devices and techniques to keep you comfortable, and numbing is available if needed.

  • What results can I expect from Microneedling?

Our Microneedling Facial stimulates collagen, refines pore size, smooths fine lines, and brightens discoloration. It’s best done in a series—3 or 6 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart—for long-term renewal.

  • How many treatments will I need to see visible improvements?

Microdermabrasion: Noticeable glow after a single visit, but best results come from multiple sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart.

Microneedling: For lasting collagen-boosted changes, plan for a series of 3–6 treatments with regular intervals.

  • Is gratuity included?

Gratuity is not included in service prices. You may leave a tip using cash, credit card, or gift card.

  • What’s the difference between microneedling and The Cell Renewal Ritual?

Microneedling uses controlled micro-injuries to stimulate collagen production, while The Cell Renewal Ritual uses micro-spicules and regenerative actives to encourage deep cellular renewal. Both offer powerful results your esthetician can guide you to the best fit.

  • How soon will I see results?

You’ll typically notice a refreshed glow after just one session. For deeper concerns like pigmentation or texture, best results are seen after a series — and we’ll customize a plan that works for your goals.

  • Can I wear makeup after my facial?

Light makeup can usually be worn the next day — but we recommend letting your skin breathe for 24 hours if possible, especially after microneedling or more intensive treatments.

  • Do I need to prep my skin before a facial?

Just arrive with a clean face and avoid using exfoliants, Retin-A, or strong actives 3-5 days before your appointment. If anything needs adjusting, we’ll guide you during your consultation.

  • Can I get a facial if I’ve recently had Botox or filler?

Yes, but timing matters. We recommend waiting 7–10 days after Botox and at least 2 weeks after filler before having a facial — especially one involving massage or stimulation like microneedling or spicule treatments. Always let your esthetician know about recent injectables so we can customize accordingly.

  • Is it safe to get a facial after a chemical peel or laser treatment?

It depends on the type of peel or laser. For light, superficial peels, you may be able to receive a calming or hydrating facial within a week. For deeper treatments, we suggest waiting 2–4 weeks and checking with your provider. Your skin’s integrity is always the priority.

  • What if I’ve had dermaplaning?

You can receive most facials after 3–5 days, once your skin has settled. If you’re interested in combining dermaplaning with a facial, we offer gentle pairing options  just let us know during booking.

  • Can I combine a facial with other treatments on the same day?

Sometimes — but not always. For example, microneedling and Botox should never be done on the same day. However, facials can often be combined with treatments like LED therapy or dermaplaning if properly timed. We’ll help you plan the safest and most effective sequence.

  • Should I stop using retinoids or actives before my facial?

Yes please discontinue use of Retin-A, retinol, AHAs/BHAs, or exfoliating serums at least 3–5 days before your appointment. This helps reduce sensitivity and allows us to work more effectively without risking irritation.

  • Note for Clients Starting a Facial Series:

To protect your skin and ensure the best results, we recommend adjusting or pausing certain treatments and products during your series. This includes:

    Retinoids (Retin-A, retinol, etc.)

    Chemical exfoliants (AHAs/BHAs)

Botox (within 7–10 days of session)

Fillers (within 2 weeks of session)

Microneedling, peels, or lasers performed elsewhere.

  • Can I get waxed and have a facial on the same day?

It’s not recommended to wax on the same day as most facials — especially exfoliating or resurfacing facials. Waxing temporarily removes the top layer of skin, and combining that with active ingredients or stimulation can cause:

    Irritation

    Redness

    Sensitivity

    Potential skin lifting

    Best Practices:

For Pre-Facial Waxing (brows, upper lip, chin, etc.):

Schedule waxing at least 24–48 hours before your facial.

For aggressive facials (like spicule or microneedling), wait a full 72 hours beforehand if possible.

    For Post-Facial Waxing:

Wait at least 3–5 days after most facials — especially those involving exfoliation, spicules, or active ingredients.

For gentler facials (like the Bio Revive or hydrating treatments), 2–3 days may be sufficient — your esthetician can guide you based on skin response.
